When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I am a pacifist
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Poverty, Our Planet, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom
So what is it?
Its a mental step all of humanity shall have to make at a point in time, we have to break loose of our chains and see that the world is one, we're all a link in the structure we call Nature. All and everything is connected, division is illusionary. We're all one big family, we just don't know it yet.
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Other
More
Our inability to get in touch with reality.

If every person had this ability, then everybody would realize that this magnificent opportunity given to us (namely the opportunity of reality) should not be wasted on waging useless wars against each other. Then its obvious there is absolutely no point in harming each other

If all would understand the wonder of the world, how can a person full of awe and reverence towards the world, who knows that this chance given to us is so unique and far-fetched,how can a person fully captivated by this way of thinking ever come to harm a human? He can't, cause he realizes the complete and utterly uselessness of it.

We should shed our old skin of traditions from the past and give ourselves the time to form a new one based on what we know today according to science.

When this has happened, Mankind will reach a pivotal point, and will radically change it's ways of being and with it shed its former system of society, and enact the birth of a new one. A society of scarsity (current capitalistic society) will be replaced by a society of abundancy. Where mankind will finally be able to use that which defines us as human to the benefit of all mankind, namely our creativity, to my great sorrow it is currently being used to create technology not to benefit all off mankind, no, now technology is almost only used to achieve profitmaximalisation.
Can we change the world?
Definitely
More about me
I'm a ponderer, a philosopher.

I have a deep reverence and awe for the wonder of Nature. I'm pretty much continuously astonished by the fact that there is something, that it is possible to experience at all. This doesn't mean that I sit around the entire day pondering about the world, sometimes I do that, but I do other more active things as well but it is irrelevant to name them here cause the only thing needed to be know by us Ipeacefolks is the way we feel about the world, our actions are the mere consequences of our sensations and feelings.

Peace Love Unity and Respect to the world
Promise to respect others and refrain from spamming?
Yes
FOR OUR WORLD
We need to stop.
Just stop.
Stop for a moment.
Before anybody
Says or does anything
That may hurt anyone else.
We need to be silent.
Just silent.
Heart Silent for a moment.
Before we forever lose
The blessing of songs
That grow in our hearts.
We need to notice.
Just notice.
Notice for a moment.
Before the future slips away
Into ashes and dust of humility.
Stop, be silent, and notice.
In so many ways, we are the same.
Our differences are unique treasures.
We have, we are, a mosaic of gifts
To nurture, to offer, to accept.
We need to be.
Just be.
Be for a moment.
Kind and gentle, innocent and trusting,
Like children and lambs,
Never judging or vengeful
Like the judging and vengeful.
And now, let us pray,
Differently, yet together,
Before there is no earth, no life,
No chance for peace.

My awakening

I've really been able to open my eyes to the world by joining Ipeace!

In real life I haven't had the chance to find many people who share the kind of views shared here. So I thought I must be like an exception, and I thought its strange that there are so few people who think and care about the world. But now I have found this community and it really shook me up. I think its so magnificent that it's possible to unite people from all over the world, and there can be many many… Continue

Hello Yao,

I wrote a story for you, but I think it was deleted.
It was called "Fishing with my uncle"; perhaps it's still there.

Best regards from Holland,

I think, about the 30 percent of some of the people they fallow him, mostly they are inside the public offices and because they look for money, some of them are now with a lot of money coming for the corruption. More of the 40 percent they dont wanted because he they not beleaved in him. The rest just they not care wht happen. This guy is trying to destroy the Democracy over here to implant something similar to Cuba, people from outside the country do not understant whar we going over here and sometimes they dont care about it. We figth this terrible government that already kill people, put in jail many persons, yesterday he say he was going to make a new list of the poeple are not with him, what kind of person he is, tell me, he is not a democrat. Remember he have all the power in his hands, justice, election, congress, all they work for him not for the state.
