Israel Now World's 10th Biggest Arms Merchant

If one looks at history, all conflicts and wars have been started or are continued because of financial interests / profits of the arms industry.

This article I found (from 2002) states impassively:
"With its tourist industry all but shuttered by a 21-month Palestinian uprising and high-tech in a slump, the Jewish state depends deeply on the foreign currency earnings of its weapons industry, now the world's 10th largest."

I would like to hear your views on the following:

Many people are manipulated into blind hatred. Are these people aware that they are only pawns for the Board of Directors, playing right into their hands so they can increase their profits?

Anxiety and dread, fed by misinformation, has intimidated peaceful people into becoming war mongers. Disrespect for life has become riffe in our society.

One truly begins to understand that this embedded system will destroy all of us, except the CEO's of the arms industry.
By the way, most have another house in Switzerland, or some other peaceful place, so no matter what will happen in Israel, they and their family will remain safe.

Why does nobody ever bring this subject to the surface?
