When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?: I am a 'born again' activist

What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Our Planet, Violence, Human Rights, Other

So what is it?: A Mentality that erases all notions of respect and compassion, and relies on greed and power. And what for? That seems like the most "burning" issue to me. That is the key to peace.

More: It seems like greed is what drives every single person in the world. Every politician, every business man, every one. Even me and you (we all want something, it doesn't matter what it is). I believe that respect and compassion is what could dissipate greed, or deviate it to anoter goal - like peace. I may be idealistic, but i'm not the only one... Take Buddha as an example. He gave away greed, and became the illuminated one, a higher being. A higher man. That's what i wish to everyone - to see the beauty of the world, to see the beauty of life, and have respect for it, have compassion (meaning - understanding). Do not let that what decays turn you away from what really matters, what stays for ever. Will money give you food, water, air, protection even, when the world will be burnt down? When you'll have achieved what you want, and burnt it all down? That is my message of peace... a message to all those who are blinded by greed.
