The inner change is the basis for realizing both individual happiness and a peaceful society.
When people are making efforts unite and realize grassroots solidarity on a world scale, we will see the path opened to the realization of a nonviolent global revolution
The only way of resisting and countering the violent tides of such an age is with strong faith in the Buddha-nature of oneself and of others. And the way that this is put into practice is through the respect we can offer others.
Can we change the world?
Definitely
More about me
I am Ricardo Del Rio, male, 51 years old, graduate as Industrial Psychologist, living in Caracas Venezuela.
I am practicing Buddhism since 31 years ago.
I am an active buddhist member of SGI. The 12 million members of Soka Gakkai International (SGI) around the world embrace Nichiren Buddhism, a dynamic philosophy grounded in the realities of daily life. This Buddhist practice leads to empowerment and inner transformation or "human revolution" which enables individuals to take responsibility for their lives and contribute to building a world where people of diverse cultures and faiths can live in peace.
