Greed incites violence. Tyrants working to dominate a country torture and abuse citizens to hold a sense of power and control. Wanting to possess lands or resources causes disputes and wars between citizen groups and countries.

Greed is not only an obstacle in removing peace, but as well as in creating peace as well. Modern society revolves around capital gain, which makes a majority of people disinclined to donate time and money to necessary charity organizations and prevents countries from fully collaborating to rectify situations with the entirety of the resources at their disposal.
