ever notice how quick people are to fall for one who inspires hope? ever notice how people are even quicker to fall away when they realize that the individual with genuine hope is not content to do nothing but talk about it? the person with genuine hope wants to work together towards a dream wherein everyone is lifted to a greater place. when unexpected, unwanted complications get in the way the average person gives up, walks away, calls hope overrated and the hopeful too idealistic....or nuts. conversely, in the face of challenge, the one with genuine hope doesn't lose even a step. why? because hope is the gift of seeing the good that can be before it arrives, and when others cannot even dream it truly exists.
being hopeful can be lonely. being hopeful can be challenging. being hopeful, in a world like ours, takes an immeasurable amount of courage. fortunately, the rewards far outweigh any cost.
