PAST LIVES
There is a very good argument against past lives. It is this, "Well, if I lived before why cannot I remember it?''
And it is a fair question.

REINCARNATION
I admit reincarnation can be hard to believe in. But if you could remember past lives it would give you a huge advantage. Our society would become much more gentle and loving if past lives were in our memories.
