When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?: I am a born activist

What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Inflation

What must we overcome to achieve peace?: Fear

More: Fear is the opposite of love. When people hate, destroy, misunderstand or in any way harm anything on this planet, they are operating out of a place of fear. People fear differences, especially those that may change them and their way of life, being hurt, being alone, shame, poverty, etc. When our fear is absolved and we find that in all circumstances we are greatly cared for, we will find only love is left.

Can we change the world?: Definitely

More about me: I believe that we should all respect this universe we were born into as well as embrace it in all its facets, instead of trying to bend the world to our flow. This world is such an amazing place. If we can understand the fear that people operate from, and identify with that, we will find ourselves operating out of love.

For a Peaceful World

As I am currently expecting, I have deviated from the normal run of the mill baby and toddler books and instead I am reading books with names like 'Green Babycare', 'Children of NOW', 'Make It (which is a craft book for kids using recyclable materials) and 'Positive Parenting for a Peaceful world'. It is my believe that the strongest tool we have for a peaceful world will be our kids.

Gratefulness in action

This morning one of the many newsletters that crosses my email, brought to my attention that if we were truly grateful for what we received and the favours that others show us, we would return the favour.

It seems that everywhere I turn everyone is getting aboard the peace train. This is the recent bulletin from Care2.com to get as many people as possible to be a part of this great event. Can you just imagine the wave of peace as various people from all over the world do their chosen part at their own time-zone's noon...
