Greed underpinned by Fear is at the root of the reason some lust for power and control at the expense of another. When the truth of our Oneness with each other and our unity with the divine source of everything is realized then the need to get more than we need and the desire to control others will vanish. Peace can be our paradigm.

It will soon be 2009. This year Christmas felt very different to me. I felt somehow refreshingly detached and free of "auto-pilot" obligation about gift buying, tree-trimming or any kind of set-in-stone tradition. I felt something old was truly over and done with and there was an open energetic field, like a blank canvas, fresh and available for something new.
