A New Vision of Christmas and New Year's
It will soon be 2009. This year Christmas felt very different to me. I felt somehow refreshingly detached and free of "auto-pilot" obligation about gift buying, tree-trimming or any kind of set-in-stone tradition. I felt something old was truly over and done with and there was an open energetic field, like a blank canvas, fresh and available for something new. I am also seeing a new vision of what the tradition of New Year's 'Resolution' can be. Stepping back and listening for divine inspiration what can be seen?
Christmas- the time of the birth of Christ. Is it possible for me to experience something deeper of the birth of christ-like consciousness within me? What is Christ consciousness? Beyond dogma, can it be The awareness of being closely related to the Eternal and Universal Source? Is it The knowing of myself as being intimate with, loved by, guided and mentored by the Great Power behind all of creation? Christ consciousness is the shedding of false ideas about who I am and what I am and the courage to accept that I am, potentially, a being of great stature and importance, IF...if I awaken to that potential and embody it. Let there be light. Let their be the return of Christ consciousness on earth in me and you. There is no separation the instant I cease to create separation. Let the illusory veil fall and the truth stand revealed.
Let us embody the presence of God, knowing God not only externally, but also right here inside, behind the thinking mind, in our individual sense of self. The One who incarnates. Let us celebrate the birth of Christ here in our earth/body.
As sons and daughters of the Creator, what are our RESOLUTIONS? What is MY resolve? What did I incarnate to bring into the world?
The winter solstice- the time in the annual cycle of the end of movement away from light and the beginning of return toward the light. It is the time where the invisible void of pure potentiality is most ready and fertile to receive the vibrations of our intentions and desires and to begin forming the energetic matrix which will bring those thoughts into physical reality. Adding the magic of emotion is like adding "miracle grow" to the cosmic soil. The vibration of gratitude and excited anticipation for the coming fruition will greatly enhance creation on the invisible side.
We are now in the space where this is not just an annual cycle but a much bigger galactic cycle of much greater magnitude and significance. There are wheels within wheels. There is a 500 year cycle, a 3,600 year cycle and a 26,000 year cycle all culminating into one big transition time. We are in the time of the movement of the solar system into alignment with the center of the galaxy; a huge magnification of solar activity which affects the electromagnetic field of the planet and the human. This affects weather, tides, ocean currents and the etheric grids and our emotions. There is the legendary return of the rouge planet which will pass close to earth and bring many changes. There is the potential shift in the magnetic pole of the planet. WE ARE BEGINNING A CYCLE OF RETURN-TO-THE-LIGHT UNLIKE ANYTHING IN OUR KNOWN HISTORY.
What does this mean? It means that now more than ever- WHAT WE FOCUS ON WILL MANIFEST. The energy in our mind and emotions is what we will attract more of. Now more than ever, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING is our ability to FOCUS our attention on WHAT WE DESIRE TO CREATE AND EXPERIENCE -in the midst of, witnessing the dissolution of the world we have known in the past. If our focus is locked into resisting change- that would be futile indeed. If we get caught in resisting "evil", battling the darkness, then we manifest battles and darkness. This is KEY. What we will witness will likely be VERY compelling and seem so big as to grab ALL our attention. Many old structures, physical and psychological, will have to break up and clear out during the shift into the new.
What am I attached to? The more things I am willing to let go of, the more free I am to move nimbly through the coming changes. This does not mean we need to give up what is required to keep the body alive or our love of others. Food, water, shelter, love and liberty are our birthrights. Let us simplify, simplify, simplify. It is useful to ponder: how would I get by if there were no electricity or running water for some period of time? What if there were no restaurants and grocery stores open? It IS important to keep the body alive, and this is all worthy of due diligence- But let me not get so distracted with merely surviving that I loose sight of what I am REALLY here for. We did not incarnate at this time just to physically survive. We came to be points of conscious awareness which add the essential catalytic ingredients into the cosmic soup. What ingredients?
Vision. Maturity. Sovereignty. Self-responsibility. Harmony. Balance. Wisdom. Love. The innate desire for the highest good for all.
Have we been waiting for an external god to give us the script for the next cycle for the earth? Are we waiting for someone or something "out there" to appear and tell us how it is suppose to be? What if the universe is waiting on US to grow up enough to create our own world?
What if it were up to us to write the script for our story?
New Year's resolutions have always seemed so trivial to me. "This year I will start exercising" "This year I will stop eating sugar" etc. and usually they represent the exact opposite of resolve- something we really have no expectation of fulfilling. Isn't this a part of our supposed "only human" "human nature" that it is time to mature beyond? Who taught us that we are weak and have no self-control? Is that true or just learned programing? Let us realize the integral part we play in the co-creation of this world. We create with the very energy present in our thoughts and feelings. Let us realize we have free-will and CAN choose where to put our attention and what we magnify and what we allow to pass. We have been misleadingly taught the belief that our thoughts and feelings exist ONLY inside our heads and affect nothing except our own little internal dialogue. NOT! We have been taught we are small and insignificant and "only human" and that the Creator, the power is "out there" somewhere, and if we are good enough, obedient enough, someday we may get to be allowed into the "kingdom". These are the paradigms that are now passing away. The energetic field will no longer support ideas of that vibrational frequency.
I resolve this New Year and this New Baktun, this new Solar and Galactic cycle- to be responsible for my own creation- to recognize that the world as it now is- I have participated in creating- and I now become self-aware enough to consciously INTEND the full and complete return of light and love and peace and harmony and goodwill for all. May every being experience Peace and Love and Belonging, may every child be held and loved and fed, may every fearful heart be comforted, may every hatred and anger melt into unconditional love, may every lust for power dissolve in the knowing of Oneness, may every human soul realize the truth that sets us free. Let the human race rejoin our galactic and angelic family. Let there be Light. Let there be Love. Let there be Harmony and Attunement here, now and always present, as the Source of All Creation. So be it. So BE. Be so.
