Yoga promoting and celebrating PEACE

The Yoga for Peace is a nonprofit event inspired by an experiment done in Washington in 1993, when a group of 2,500 people gathered to meditate to decrease violence that, as in São Paulo, was extremely worrying levels in the American Capital. The result, shown by the local police, was a decrease of 25% of violence in the city.

With the help of a “real good chain”, the event will be held for the fourth consecutive year, on August 16th at Ibirapuera Park. This year it is expected more than 20,000 people participating.

My goal to disclose that event on iPeace site is sharing this chain with everyone who wants to join us.

We know we live in different parts of the world, the physical presence of all is very difficult for those who do not live in São Paulo. But it is important to share our experiences and inspire people with the initiatives that are moving to consolidate the culture of peace in the world.

Therefore, on August 16th, picture that we, your brazilian brothers and sisters residents in São Paulo city, will emanating vibrations of peace and love throughout the Universe. Feel in fact that energy. It exists, is real, and certainly has great power to make our world better.

O Yoga pela Paz é um evento sem fins lucrativos que nasceu inspirado por uma experiência feita em Washington em 1993, quando um grupo de 2.500 pessoas se juntou para meditar pela diminuição da violência que, assim como em São Paulo, atingia níveis extremamente preocupantes na capital americana. O resultado, comprovado pela polícia local, foi uma diminuição de 25% da violência na cidade.

Com a ajuda de uma verdadeira corrente do bem, o evento acontecerá pelo quarto ano consecutivo, no dia 16 de agosto no Parque do Ibirapuera. Esse ano espera-se mais de 20.000 pessoas participando.

Meu objetivo ao divulgar esse evento no site iPeace é formar essa corrente do bem com todos que queiram dela participar.

Sabemos que vivemos em partes diferentes do mundo, que a presença física de todos é muito difícil para os que não moram em São Paulo. Mas é importante compartilhar nossas experiências e inspirar as pessoas com as iniciativas que estão caminhando para consolidar a cultura de paz no mundo.

Portanto, no dia 16 de agosto, mentalize que nós, seus irmãos brasileiros e moradores da cidade de São Paulo, estamos mentalizando e emanando vibrações de paz e amor por todo o Universo. Sinta de fato essa energia. Ela existe, é real, e com certeza tem grande poder de tornar nosso mundo melhor.
