Angels among us.

This story is a true story and it stays with me everyday.

My partner and I drove for miles in the rain and the fog to his brother's house miles away from our home. It would be Steve's last visit to see his brother, Steve had only weeks to live although we though he would win the battle with cancer.
We stayed for a few hours and steve wanted to leave and return home where he felt safe and warm.
So although I knew the drive would be bad I knew he would feel better once we arrive back to our our place.
It was dark now and on top of all this it was still raining and the fog had gotten worse.
I was at my wits end. Steve was almost crying in pain now and I did not want to complain about not been able to see one inch in front of me.
So I said a silent prayer to the Angels and asked them to please guide me.
Then out of no where three transport trucks were in front of me all side by side lighting up the highway with their back lights. 18 big red lights, a voice told me to follow them.
I did and I thank God and my Angels to this day for helping me take us home to safety.
Although I miss him with all my heart I know he is now safe with God and the Angels that had guided us that night.
