Many Warrington fans no doubt spent the weekend drowning their sorrows.

Their team offered spirit in Saturday’s Challenge Cup semi-final but only really came to the party when Leeds were getting ready to leave for the bigger bash later this month at Wembley.

Sore heads then for the Wolves’ faithful and more bitter disappointment for them to swallow after losing the last two Grand Finals.

Just what is it with Warrington in the big games?

Retro Air Jordan Shoes
It just is not happening for them for some reason.

With four tough Super League games coming up, it will be interesting to see what the knock-on effect is from this defeat.

Air Jordan 11 Retro
Warrington have to visit both Saints and Wigan ahead of the play-offs.

They needed to start strongly on Saturday but instead Leeds cut loose, racing into a 14-0 lead.

Evergreen Jamie Peacock ruffled a few feathers en route to winning the man of the match award.

Buy Cheap Retro Jordans
Rhinos winger Ryan Hall also used his power and bulk to score a couple of tries to put Leeds in the driving seat.

Warrington saw little ball and left themselves with too much to do.

Coach Tony Smith admitted: ‘‘We lost momentum from the way we were wanting to start.

“We applied ourselves in defence but you cannot afford to give a team like Leeds that sort of ball and field position.”

It all left Warrington again reflecting on what might have been.

Buy Cheap Air Jordans
They wanted a Wembley trip but again came up short when it mattered.

Instead Leeds will meet Castleford in an all-Yorkshire final after Cas beat Widnes in yesterday’s second semi-final.

However, crowd trouble marred Castleford’s moment of glory.

Disgruntled Vikings supporters invaded the pitch at Leigh Sports Village after the final hooter and approached rival fans at the opposite end in a provocative manner.

Some violence did break out as police and stewards attempted to quell the disturbance.
