Why does the MLM industry get caught in this ponzi scheme hoopla? When the fact is MLM companies do not resemble ponzi schemes. Let me explain ! A ponzi scheme is basically a situation that you would put your name on a list hoping that people will send you money directly. This has absolutely no connection with the MLM world at all. Tell me this!

How can certain companies that have great products or services also creating multiple 6 figure a month income earners be considered a ponzi scheme? Just look how most MLM businesses conduct their compensation structure. Most use a 3 x 9 forced matrix this system works in a downward motion unlike a ponzi scheme which pretty much goes up. I'll explain further.. How it works in a 3 x 9 matrix it's only possible to have 3 people on your first line. Which means that any one else you invite into your business is placed underneath someone else in your downline.

Some of the most revered companies use the 3x9 matrix so you would have to be a fool to think that the MLM industry is a big ponzi scheme. Have you ever heard of "spillover" ? A 3 x 9 matrix causes this term, now when you spill something it goes where ? DOWN! So how can a MLM company be called a ponzi scheme with a 3x9 matrix attached as its commission structure it doesn't make sense..

Lets shut down the MLM ponzi scheme notion one more time. Another comp structure which quites the peanut gallery is the Binary. I'll get strait to the point you are allowed only two people on your front line each new member there after goes under your left leg or right leg. You see the BINARY system crushes the ponzi scheme talk as well. OK example time lets say for the sake of conversation you recently joined a MLM team and within your first 30 days you brought in 100 people you would have 50 people on your left leg and 50 on the right. Now what makes this far from a ponzi scheme is that everyone on your downline is benefiting financially from the volume you have created. So again ''spillover " from a binary or 3x9 matrix proves that they are not related to any ponzi Schemes.

People can't always label something until they have all the facts. They need to realize the best MLM companies are not disguised ponzi schemes but provide commission structures that benefit all from newbies to season veteran's.

There is no question that ponzi schemes are still floating around through direct mail and online. But it is fact that they are not in conjunction with the MLM opportunities I've seen or been a member of in my 8 years in the industry. A great way to decide if a ponzi may be present Just look at how distributors get paid if either the 3x9 or Binary comes into the equation then my advice has steered you away from the ponzi scheme world.
