Peace is by definition the absence of war or other hostilities… consequently it’s very difficult to talk about peace in these dark days; it’s difficult to exchange New Year’s wishes soulfully and light-heartedly as if nothing is happening.
The world is actually feeling the pain and the news echoing the striking clock are a constant reminder of the tragic and alarming situation in Gaza, the children who have luckily survived the raids in Gaza are horrified; they are being marked forever, they will never be the same again.
As a matter of fact, the socio-political situation is so complex and attempting to study it in depth, trying to find out the historical origins of the conflict right now, is a mere waste of time and waiting for the end of this phase silently and helplessly is the worst manifestation of egoistic indifference.
Confident that the internet is a tool to make my voice heard I personally demand that Israel stops the raids on Gaza and end the blockade immediately.
I am grateful for my friend Khaled who invited me to ipeace, I ‘m also thankful to all peace people on ipeace those who are speaking their minds peacefully against all odds.
