We are aware that some of your daily challenges create a difficulty to find Joy among the chaos that crosses your path. Your day is filled with many responsibilities that oftentimes seem to push the thought of Joy right out of your mind with other busy thoughts that fire up your day. Joy is able to be found even during the most hectic of situations and it isn’t only reserved for large occasions such as weddings, holidays, birthdays, etc.

It is obvious that Joy thrives in the major moments of your life, but Joy also lives in the small moments, but it requires you to notice these little gifts of Joy. Many times throughout your day, you greet Joyful moments. They begin as soon as you wake. You might be hearing the sound of the early birds singing their song, maybe it is raining and the sound it makes is Joyful and calming, having breakfast with your family even if rushed helps to energize your day with subtle Joy that is felt deep within your heart. When you look dear ones, you will see much of you day has been nourished with Joy. Whenever you take a break to possibly purchase one of your favourite coffees or enjoying a meal that you took extra time to prepare also gives Joy and fond memories that when looked back upon provide you with warmth and comfort. It is the simple Joys that motivate and inspire your day, yet many dear souls look beyond these small moments only looking for Joy to come screaming at them loud and boisterous. Joy isn’t always about the large events, Joy is in all events and one of the best ways to capture moments of Joy is through photographing those morning moments with your family, writing down in a journal how pleased you were to hear the sound of the rain. When you take a few moments to capture certain moments that brought you calm and Joy, you are creating documents that you can go back on and visit when Joy seems to have slipped from your grasp.

Think back dear ones to when you were a child. Were there any games that always captured your attention? Do you still remember them and possibly taught them to your own children? Playing with your children is a good way to create and find Joy. Even if your children are grown, there are still numerous ways to find Joy and create lasting memories to look back with fondness. Many families with older and grown children create game nights where they play cards or board games, some families have a movie night where they either bring a videotaped movie into the home or they go to the local theatre, the choices are endless on what can done that will create more Joy into your life and increase your level of happiness that also infiltrates all that you do with higher energy.

Joy is found within all the areas that you are passionate about. Within all the things you like to do, is where you find Joy. We understand the busyness of your day often removes you from the comforts of Joy, but remember dear ones there is always a little time available even a few precious moments for you to work within those areas that fuel your passions. Maybe what you love is writing, gardening, or cooking - you do have the ability to squeeze a little extra time in your day to exercise what it is you love. What you may notice dear ones, is while you are quickly absorbed in an activity that brings you Joy; you are also cultivating an area of peace and tranquility. The stress of the day is often released when you focus your attention on something else. Why not let this something else be what you love to do. But first you need to take the time to remember or learn what it is that brings you Joy and what is feasible to do within the hours of your day then make it happen.

When you make a conscious choice to show gratitude throughout your day for different things, you increase positive reactions that help to stimulate your energy, enthusiasm and even your optimism. Gratitude is very healing, it provides release of tension because through the practice of gratitude you are accepting the lesson any moment has brought you. Each day is filled with infinite lessons. You may not be able to be conscious of them all, but it’s important to be able to recognize a few of them. We suggest you to create a little gratitude list each day. You do not need to write them down, you think of three things each day that you are grateful for. Are you grateful for being able to withstand the effects of your stressful day? Are you grateful to come home after a long day to be greeted by a friendly hello or even dinner? Do you find gratefulness in the quiet time of the morning? There are many things you can list to describe what it is you are grateful for. Remember dear ones; there is nothing in your life that is too small to be grateful for. Learning to count your blessings is wonderful way for you to develop greater communication skills with your friends and family – it helps to bridge connects and by sharing your gratitude, they too will feel the uplifting of your spirit. Spread the Joy dear ones through your own positive, light filled actions.

Knowing how fast your day is, where your day is consumed from one task to the other. Look around you; take your time to truly savour your workplace environment. Focus your observations to what you hear, see and possibly touch. Find beauty in your busy world. Beauty isn’t always contained in a creative painting or pretty flower. Beauty can be found in all places if you take the time to look dear ones with your heart. You can make finding beauty in your workplace a daily exercise and write down what you discover as different that also contains beauty. Don’t be disappointed if you only jot down one or two things at first, be optimistic and let your heart guide you.

With your day being so demanding we understand how difficult it is for many of you to maintain high energy and how easy it can be to become over stressed. Make a point to practice activities that are easy enough to fit in your day that will help dissolve some of your stress. Deep breathing, walking, find a quiet place and stretch, learn to think of creative ways that will reduce your stress and improve your motivation that will bring you to the end of your working day feeling more Joyful.

Understand dear ones, what Joy means to one dear soul will mean something else completely different to another. Joy also has the ability to change each day as each day brings new challenges and opportunities. Joy is not rare nor is it a luxury and it is never difficult to find if you are truly looking. Most times dear ones the Joy you are looking for is right in front you. Many times you are either not paying attention or you have taken for granted the small things that have provided you with Joy, happiness and inner peace.

We are aware of the difficulties you have faced during your life’s journey. One of the points that have brought you through each situation and through each challenge even among your day-to-day life was your ability to find Joy along the way. The rough patches you have overcome have created within you a deep strength and at times you shared your experiences with others, you bonded even momentarily and these moments of bonding, even if you were tearful also created Joy. Being able to share with someone, to bond during moments of difficulty can be very difficult, realizing the strength and courage you displayed brings about a quiet Joy that is liberating to your heart, mind, body and spirit.

Remember dear ones; Joy is essential to the renewal of your faith, gratitude, hope, love and many more wonderful attributes. Joy is simple and it is pure. Joy is also a response to something that provided happiness from the experiences you found pleasure in. Joy also stimulates deeper satisfaction when you are able to help others selflessly and being glad when they experience any kind of win.

We encourage you to invite Joy into your life more often. Joy will help you transition into new phases of your life as life is meant to be enjoyed not endured. There are always negative companions with any positive attribute. Joy’s negative companion is sorrow. When there are times of sadness, learn to see the upside of any situation, no matter how bad your situation is there are always worse case scenarios happening somewhere else to someone else. During moments of grief, practice expressing gratitude for all the wonderful things and people you do have in your life. Feel the Joy and allow its warmness to intensify your awareness within all areas of your life and discover the many people, places and things that bring you happiness. Remember the Joy you felt when you laughed so hard you cried, those times are still there and they have the ability to happen again. Finding Joy is always a possibility.

Dear ones, Joy will always be a part of your life. When Joy is found, be thankful to the feelings those moments created that stemmed from Joy. Remember any time you have felt sadness, sorrow, or even cried… they are also your stepping stones that will inevitably bring you to Joy.

Joy is in you to be and to give. Be the Joyous person your heart and soul knows you can be. Inspire yourself through the moments you find Joy, peace and happiness.
