The Winter Solstice also signifies the 'longest night'. From this point forward the sun is said to experience a 'rebirth' and the days become progressively longer, signifying a time of creation and manifestation.
As a time of birth or renewal, its significance here is also to provide an opportunity to honour children and to bring warmth, light and cheerfulness into this darkest time of the year. From this moment forward, each successive day will see more and more sunlight until the Summer Solstice occurs on June 21st when solar influence reaches its peak.
As and Indigo, the Winter Solstice therefore is an excellent time to find within you your intuitive and creative aspects. For the Indigo Children, it provides a powerful time to note down your intentions for the New Year and see them powerfully manifest through this new cycle.
What do you do for the Solstice? What effects have you experienced from this?
