With three of their final four games at home, with Middlesex and title-chasing Yorkshire yet to come to Emirates Old Trafford

Retro Jordans for Sale Defeat would leave Lancashire realistically needing three wins from their final three matches to have any chance of pulling away from the bottom two and avoid dropping straight back into the Second Division just 12 months after securing promotion.

With three of their final four games at home, with Middlesex and title-chasing Yorkshire yet to come to Emirates Old Trafford, Lancashire certainly aren’t dead yet especially with the other match at mid-table Sussex.

But with their only two wins in the Championship coming against bottom-of-the-table Northamptonshire home and away so far this season, Lancashire need to up their game if they are to survive.

Buy Retro Jordans
Lancashire had already played eight matches when Khawaja joined them in June. His first game was against Durham at Chester-le-Street where the Red Rose fell just 28 runs short of chasing down a victory target of 340 in the second innings.

And in their last Championship match, they had Nottinghamshire nine down in their second innings at Aigburth only to lose by one wicket on the third day.

It has shown the Australian Test batsman that there is enough quality in the Emirates Old Trafford dressing room to secure a place in Division One again next season.

“I think we’re as good as any other team,” said the 27-year-old left-hander. “Take the last game against Notts. They went into that game pretty much at the top of the table, and they beat us with nine wickets down on the third day.

“We’ve competed with every single team since I’ve been here. I look at the guys around this dressing room and we’re too good a team to be coming in at the bottom of the table.

“It just happens sometimes. A couple of things don’t go your way, you miss a couple of crucial opportunities at key times and you can be down the bottom of the table.

Buy Retro Jordans Cheap
“There aren’t many games left in the four-day competition now. Fingers crossed, we can start winning some games because we want to be playing First Division cricket next year.”

Air Jordan 10 Retro
And Khawaja admits Lancashire will have revenge on their minds when they face Durham.

“We just lost against them last time, and it was a bitter pill to swallow,” he said. “It’s a big game for us. If we play well, win
that game, we can move forward.”

Lancashire, meanwhile, return to Royal London One-day Cup action tonight when they host Northamptonshire at Emirates Old Trafford.
