"I HAVE HAD E N O U G H!!!" stories where you have used these words!

I have a tiny little story about the above. I remember it quite vividly. It's a short story that came to mind after writing here on the group a couple of hours ago.

A man, much older than I was at the time, at the park started to talk with me. I had my first daughter with me, probably she was about 3 years old. He started telling me a story. It got darker and scarier and I could just feel that the end was going to be very depressing and horrifying. Before he continued anymore I said, in Italian...."B A S T A!!!". HE DIDN'T CATCH ON!!! He continued, and just wanted to tell me all of it!!! I said, "I didn't want to hear it, so that is enough already!" and walked away without hearing the end....of his horrifying story! %?$%%£"/)?é°çK!!!

JOKING

It's hard for me not to see humour in things! I often have to restrain myself. I just see the irony in things, I can't help it.
Things are going seriously with someone, a discussion, the seriousness and I think "just imagine this person now heard a joke....or was wearing a funny tie, or couldn't we just take this on a lighter note!!" And then I smile, and tell a joke, or see the person in a lighter way....and the seriousness just goes "poof!"
I have to watch it, because not all things can be so lighthearted, can they! I just easily see the humour in things, even in this writing here....as if, just for "fun" all of a sudden I would go to post, and my computer would act up and not post it.
THAT is sort of funny to me, a tiny little "tragedy", nothing serious, just time and me sitting here reflecting on ironic thoughts...and then POOF....it doesn't print.
So,

Yesterday I had problems and had to print two messages to Mody up top!! They just didn't print at all!

I have enough of my own joking!!! Sometimes I just can't stop and I say to myself or to my husband, tell me to stop!

great detailed story....am looking at the wild video, can't turn up volumn too much activity in this room right now...
however, loved your story.
You have so much going on your life and have done so much!!! The book was fantastic, what a great gift!! And the drinks, too funny they way you explained it.

CHOCOLATES.....I've had ENOUGH!

I remember those fabulous American films. An actress would be in an incredibly comfortable bed with silk sheets, lots of pillows and on her cover, to one side, was a full box of CHOCOLATES. She would sit, do her nails, or read, or talk on the phone and eat one chocolate after another! And another. She would never say, as we modern women do today, after you have eaten one or two or three and then you say I'VE HAD ENOUGH!! When, actually you realize that you would like to keep going....until they are all gone!! Just like that woman from the 1950's would....eat the whole BOX!

I just went to a meeting last night and they had a huge box of chocolates (like it could have held about four boxes of BOOTS in it.
I only took about 12 or so, others took more because they were part of the chocolate festival here in Perugia...anyhow, I was going to save them all for my parents...but you know what

(not going to tell you....you already can guess that I ate several...tightening the bag they are in good and tight, so that I have difficulty getting into it again.....now that we are talking about it..............excuse me, must go into the kitchen where that bag is......................)

DK my girls would always say to me "Mom the reason we want sweets so much it that you didn't buy us enough when we were little" They were talking about good ol' Italian Nutella...it is so sinful...gooey chocolatey and messy....I bought so little of it ....whereas other Italian households had it in the house all the time.
Dont' know what is in it, but it is good. Gooey. Calories. Messy. Yummy. and sort of disgusting...all at the same time!

Here, have some of these Fave dei morti....a delicious cookie eaten during this period made with almond paste! Much more healthy, so to speak....
