I will be writing about some Food Habits for precaution.. and which helps managing Blood Pressure issues / Diabetic / Weight Management / Better Skin / Insomnia / Common Cough / Cold.

I will be glad to answer & suggest easy way to add / modify food habits which NATURE has provided us in abundance.

I will also appreciate to see some useful contributions from friends / readers.

I am a Professional Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's of Science Degree. Working in the health field I see a lot of things the Doctors I'm working with cannot explain. One simple thing I've noticed among people who have lived much longer than their diagnosis are expected to live and those living over 100 years. These people are very spiritual and pray or meditate routinely. My brother-in-law with incredible health for his inherited polycystic kidney and liver disease asks that the food he eats be blessed to his body.
Thanks for posting this info Mary. I had never considered the additional damaging aspects of GMO, as you say they don't contain all the correct nutrients. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE CULTIVATORS OF GMO????? We have EVERYTHING we need in nature, there is no need for modifications, which can only cause harm to ourselves and our environment in the long run.

Thanks to Friends for their nice thoughts and kind words. I am writing about two aspects today

1. Healthy Heart
2. Healthy Kidney

I recall when I was attuned / initiated for Tantra / Kundalini Meditation when I was merely 8 yrs old and was advised by my Teachers / GURU to follow few food habits and today when I coach friends I realize the importance of those teachings.

The nice aspect of the food habit is that it applies for friends who are pure vegetarian and those who are non-vegetarians.
As even Fish is healthy ( the whole world is now talking about Omega 3 )

I will be privileged to have some feedback from friends. In my next discussion, I will be adding on Weight Management and Skin Care, Insomnia .

I will be happy to answer questions OR to suggest some food habits on issues anyone is looking for.

FOR HEALTHY HEART AND AVOIDING HEART DISEASE ( In Sanskrit it is known as Hridya Roga)

• Put dry grapes in water, take its juice the next day & drink 3 ounce daily on empty stomach in the morning.
• Tea good.
• Put green gram in a mug, pour some water on its and allow it to bud (2/3 days). Take such developed gram plants and fry / boil & eat in morning. This is very good for those suffering from Heart disease / very good for sports men for energy.
• Drink Tomato soup.
• Eat Beet root.
• Eat fried Pumpkin seeds.
• Eat small Fish.
• Eat Carrot.
• Take Coriander Juice + Garlic + Ginger Paste.

Following Yogas also helps
:

• Shava Asana – 2/3 times daily.
• Pawanmukta Asana.
• Uttanpada Asana

FOR HEALTHY KIDNEY / AVOIDING KIDNEY STONES

• Drink Drumstick Tree Root juice.
• Take Carrot / Carrot Juice.
• Eat Pineapple.
• Drink Cucumber Juice + Lemon Juice + Pepper Powder.
• Boil Spinach + Horse Gram. Add 2 spoons Lemon Juice and take 2 times for a month.
• Drink Mango Juice + Carrot Juice + 1 Ounce Honey.
• Eat Boiled Horse Gram / Put Fried Horse Gram in water & Boil and drink same.
• Take Radish (Mullanki) Root & Leaves.
• Drink White Gourd (White Pumpkin – Kumbalam) Juice

Do you have any suggestions for chronic sinus problems and nasal polyps?

(Mine are caused by food & environmental allergies and I haven't come across a conventional or holistic treatment/remedy/drug that has helped me yet - and I've tried a lot of things). Recently I have been experimenting with Apple Cider Vinegar with baking soda and honey. It's worked wonders for some, but hasn't done a thing for me!
I am working on pushing down the levels of gluten at home, also white sugar.
