That's good..... I have been talking to ian about astrology, he knows a lot about it and some of the signs are not correct anymore, so Teà is probably nothing like all the Aries I have know.... she could not be!!!!!

Silent Fireworks sound good. None of my pets have ever been frightened of fireworks, not even Edwin the nutty horse, his name was Nutty when I bought him, it suited him well!!!

Edwin can take all sorts of natural things, you are right in saying that. He does not trust any people though, he has learned the hard way not to, before he was under my care damage was done, and when I put him out on loan to a person I thought would care for him when Sophie was a baby, all she did was stress him out and gave him back to me as soon as she broke him.... he had to have 6 months box rest and 3 months being led about all part of his rehabilitation after the injury he sustained because she did not put his tendon pads on his legs. I got him better though, with all my traditional medicines, when the vets said he had not hope of getting better...... did the same for my dog too, when the vets wanted to put him down.

My Aunt's dogs have all been frightened of fireworks, but I think she is too, so that might explain why.

Horses don't like the weather when it's windy, I guess because the wind is unpredictable and could cause a tree to fall or a branch to come down and that's what they don't like.

I've never witnessed a tree fall, but I've heard one from a few yards away.

I bet you felt bad when you realised that there had been a storm and a half and that poor woman was only trying to explain..... well I hope you did!

I think a lot of the 'natural' disasters are born from man, if you tap a bucket of water there is a ripple effect. If they let of a big bomb somewhere there is bound to be an effect somewhere else on earth, the energy has to go somewhere.
Is Edwin the one that won't enter your house ? Bloody terrible story relating to the ol' fella. Very sad that Human Beings can act so viciously against animals. Very sad.

Yes, I get what you mean re. your Aunt. Dogs, especially, need a Leader, so to speak, to 'tell' them it's all ok. Like children.

Sorry, didn't alter my feelings. But after a year or two I calmed down a bit ! hehe.

Agree with all you've just written.
Edwin wants to come in but the door height is not enough, he is a biggish horse, he is 16 hh and a middleweight.

He looks longingly through the window and puts his head in the room and has on occasion put his from foot through on to the floor.... he just knows that it would be too tight for him inside if he wanted to turn around.

It took you a year or two to calm down...... wow you must have been het up big time!!!!
And I'd swallow bees for Her......................My English teacher, Mr. Laidlaw-Brown (who had, apart from a blue rinse !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, a very precise Edinburgh accent,. In the vein of Maggie Smith in The Prime of Miss Jean Brody. Or what's-'is-name, Victor Meldrew) would've verbally torn me to shreds if he were to see me starting ANYTHING written, in the English language, with 'And' (same goes for the use of the word 'Get'. This time, tough, ANYWHERE actually written. There are ALWAYS other words in this vast vocabulary of ours that I could substitute. I can almost hear him saying it. A great teacher, actually. But strict, as were ALL the academics at my school. Bar the French teacher, Mr Trevellian, he went off with a nervous breakdown. He had a lot to teach and would've been great but no backbone/strength when dealing with adolescent boys who were used to strict teachers. It was like Daniel and the lions in a way. Not at all amusing. I remember thinking the same at the time, funnily enough)
We could always spot the ones that were going to be eaten alive in a few minutes. Some of the boys in my class when I was in the D group were a bit naughty.

One of the boys, Mark Adam's set light to my hair in class, he throw a match into it, I have always had very long hair. He went to prison for arson when he was older, I wrote to him there, he as actually a nice boy and I liked him. He is dead now, he killed himself.

I have some funny memories regarding teachers, all good ones.
Odd little story, that. Did he end his Life in prison ? Sue, I find your forgiveness admirable.x

One of the Master Carpenters at the National Theatre, some years back, has a son that set light to his house on more than one occasion (this fella, the M.C. wasn't particularly liked by anyone. Can't remember his name right now). A pyro.

The M.C. always, I knew the bloke before I ever worked under him, by the way, took exotic lengthy (4 weeks) holidays. One year he went away and there was an earthquake ! Another a tsunami ! ANOTHER time, and this was just a mad place to go considering the volatility within the Country around then, he and his wife were arrested. The British Consulate negotiated to have them released. Extending their stay from 4 to 6-7 weeks (and this was one of the times when his cherished and sweet kiddy-poo decided to set the curtains, and that continuing on to destroy the ground floor of the Families house, alight (sorry, but remembering the fun we all had relating to the whole fiasco is making me crease up inside my head over here, hahahahahahahahahaaaaa !). It doesn't stop there but can't go on with it. You have to know the ****** to grasp the full extent of the humour surrounding his relaxing summer breaks !! Hahahahahahahahahahhaaaaaa !!!!!!!!!!!
He was not in prison when he died.... well I don't think he was. He lived only a couple of hundred yards from me, his parent were nice and I liked him very much, even though he did set my hair alight... teenage boys do strange things when they like girls and I think it was he way of saying he liked me! Though I would have preferred a more conventional approach!

The lad sounds a little treasure... I guess there is far more to tell than can be explained on a comment wall. Memories with a slight trigger can set me off too, hard to explain to anyone else but I have a memory when an electrician fell of his ladder, it was so funny at the time and is still hilarious in my head every time I think of it. He did not get hurt...
