Can We Learn Something?

The shooter in Finland's college shooting left behind a note but not a message of peace. His note talked about his hatred of the human race and mankind.The young man said he had planned his attack since 2002. His message was not one of peace but maybe his note shows the obstacles we have to overcome to ever achieve peace. Some of human kind feels totally isolated from the rest of us! Does that come from just within themselves or is it nourished by external factors? I believe - a little of both! I believe we have to really trace back the steps through time of those distressed individuals to even begin to understand a tiny bit about the origin of such hatred! A hatred of such a depth hardly begins overnight.
Were there opportunities lost at some vital turning point?
Opportunites to foster peace rather than to grow hatred!
