I found out people in WestBank and Gaza are not aware about Kiva.
If you want to make promotion you kan join
Kiva-Palestine
It would be good to use Kiva as peace-building platform and see Jews/Israeli are lending Palestinian and vis versa

I have joined Kiva in May 2007 and I remember to have read that there were loans in this area but have been stopped due to problems in repaying.

beside hard economical situation in OPT, I see another problem which is "political manipulation money" ..
instead people try to get "independent", get empowered they use NGOs as small "Lobby"-island and governmental finance to get "clapped and followed".
Money from out-side in this way has dirty effects.
In my homne-town Jenin, there is "new" bigging wave mostly by kids. If we ask weather the mother, father or big brother are ready for field or cleaning work, etc. they get confused.
