To be honest...I didn't mean to start a thread...but since we are on the topic... :), I became musically void for over a decade. I couldn't understand how everyone wanted to move away from the peace movement after years, and years of war, so I invested my heart into what most people do during their 20's and 30's: family. Then the nest became empty and a friend of mine introduced me to Michael Franti and Spearhead. I don't think I can ever get enough of the Spearhead because that was the day I stepped out of the rain and began really living.
Anyway, I saw Jesse Collin Young and I love his voice; however, I can't find much play on you tube. I love the selections already posted here, from the Monterey Pop festival.
Some of the best things are started by a mistake. There is a group on ipeace dedicated to Michael Franti, I bought his album Yell Fire, my favorite song of his is.............
Thanks Les, I never watched that show......... looks like I missed a good one.
Video two is great, really great......... video three... well I guess you have to see the rest of the show to know the fate of the cow. I hope it was a nice outcome for her! xxx
It was the greatest ever! The humour was zany, off the wall, a little weird. There were moments of real tenderness, sadness, great fun, deep philosophy - it's quite indescribable, at least to do it justice. Oh, the cow never was 'flung', Maggie's piano was volunteered instead - I know, don't ask! :o)
I'm not sure about a favorite exactly but I think this has to fit here and I simply had to post it for you all to see and hear. A friend sent it to me recently and I've run it twice already!

That was so beautiful............. I guess the young lady is only in her early to mid teens, she is very talented. Thanks for posting it here for us all to enjoy :)
