iPeace prides itself on being a free space for sharing ideas, opinions and information.

But we have and uphold certain standards. We will not allow posting of explicit horror images of war. We don't need to see it to realize that war is horrific.

We understand also that emotions in these days are running high. But we will not tolerate personal attacks between members.

We ask you to help us in keeping the iPeace space civilized and report to one of the admins any violation.

Praying for more peaceful days

There is another excellent DemocracyNow show today: Oxford professor Avi Shlaim, who served in the Israeli army in the mid-1960s and is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading authorities on the Israeli-Arab conflict is interviewed. He is incredibly knowledgeable and speaks articulately about the history and current problems in the Occupied Territories. Also interviewed are Marc Garlasco of Human Rights Watch and Dr. Mads Gilbert, who just returned to Norway from the Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. He says Gaza is “truly a scene from Dante’s Inferno.” I find it so important to have this information, as it is crucial when discussing the issue with those who support Israel's attack.

I am not a politician, not defending any party. War is ugly side of politics where civilians still occur.
The Bible teaches us - do not kill .....

l991.-1995. My country was at war, and many took a long time to understand what is happening. While the world of thought - a lot of children, elderly and women were killed.
My sympathies are on the side of victims.

On the war on Gaza, “When I think about all those who have died (like the five daughters of the Balousha family, Tahir Balousha, 17; Ikram Balousha, 14; Samar Balousha, 12; Dina Balousha, 8; and Jawaher Balousha, 4, all of whom were killed by an Israeli bomb that fell on the mosque next door to their house) I feel that our collective humanity is diminished. This war is a crime.”

Dear Margarita,

is your only answer to international mobilization against the war is to use a so unappropriate video into this group ??? without a word to explain what is your source ? So amazing to copy/paste without giving one explanation... So i explain here why your video is so bad and show that you are not a peaceful person... :

1. This video and many others like this one come from a pro-war neo-con lobby in USA: The so called Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI)... This site is promoting a false vision of the reality by presenting all Arab people like jihadist and terrorists... So do you agree with the foreign policy of George Bush in Irak and Palestine ???
2. If you knew very well the situation instead of being a victim of global proisraeli propaganda, you would understand that Hamas is not a terrorist movement (i have no sympathy for Hamas, i fight against Hamas because i fight against any religious and/or violent movements in politics: christians, muslims, jews, hinduists and so on... but a nationalist and religious movement of resistance against occupation... Quite similar to... zionism and Fatah
3. CIVILIAN PEOPLE IN ISRAEL AND PALESTINE DON'T WANT WAR BUT PEACE... unfortunately for us, i see you support an illegal war by a democratic country... So sad in iPeace...

Greetings . Margaritas video below , shows how out of control , the
Abrahamic Spiritualities are , in the quest for dominance . The legacy ,
of a single story , written thousands of years ago , which branched out
to become three stories , and now influences about a third of our
species , is yet to unfold .

Our species legacy . What we leave to our grandchildren , seems to have been brushed aside somehow , in a quest for dominance .

Leaders lead , and , followers follow . Peace is right in front of us ,
by chooseing who to follow .

What a person chooses to read , seems to have a very great
influence , on their individual outlook for our species future . Our
childrens future , is destined by our decisions today .

Peace can be our legacy , but do our Leaders lead to that ?
Do they not have children to protect , as we do ?

Mother Natures rules , nurture every living thing on this beautiful planet .
Can our species not relearn to live , by Her rules ?
