The World Peace Ambassadors group (WPA) is a global organization that proactively promote world peace through non-violent means.

In the past decade, hundreds of thousands of innocent people have been killed in barbaric wars. History shows that wars are driven by greed and ideologies that conflicts with justice and human rights. Despite that, wars are well packaged, for the mob and the naive among us, under the guise of religion, defending democracy and freedom, patriotism, national security, and recently TERRORISM. Those factors are the drive for the gullible among us to believe, participate in a war and die, or get maimed, or scarred for life (emotionally, physically, or both). The only way to demonstrate it to the politicians is to make them see the number of people from all over the globe who are anti-war and for peace. If politicians see our numbers growing, they will resort to peaceful solutions rather than give in to greedy organizations who want to get war launched at any price to their citizens or the citizens of the “enemy.” Those criminals who drive the engine of war get all the benefits and laugh quietly at those who believed them.

Prevention of war will protect our humanity and the environment. Wars destroy human values and spirit, and the environment more than any other world event. The culture of peace can underpin sustainable development, environmental protection and the well-being of you, your family, your community, your country and the whole world.

WE can stop this madness. If you want to have a world where people from different races and creeds can accept each other and live together in peace, this is your chance. We can create a peaceful world if we have a critical mass of a large number of people as World Peace Ambassadors. We can tip the balance and make politicians realize that to win an election, they will have to avoid launching or supporting a war. They will take notice when they see there is a large number of people who proactively support world peace.

This transformation demands the participation of each and every one of us, and must offer young people and future generations the values that can inspire them to shape a world based on justice, solidarity, liberty, dignity, harmony and prosperity for all.

The following are principles by which we can create a peaceful world. If you agree with them, please join us become a World Peace Ambassador, invite your friends to promote our movement to achieve our goal. Let us make this movement grow and see friends from all over the globe join hands for harmony, peace, and justice for all.

As a World Peace Ambassador, you will abide by and commit to the following declaration:

PLEDGE
I pledge in my daily life, in my family, my work, my community, my country and my region, to:

1. Resolve my conflicts with other individuals, organizations (nationally or internationally) peacefully;

2. Reject to be part of an organization that promotes war or participate in it directly or indirectly;

3. Join and support organizations that promote world peace;

4. Reject violence in all its forms: physical, sexual, psychological, economical and social and promote peace and love in all aspect of my life;

5. Respect the life and dignity of each human being without discrimination or prejudice;

6. Generously share my time and resources to help the community, and the world to end poverty, exclusion, injustice and political and economic oppression;

7. Defend freedom of expression and cultural diversity, giving preference always to dialogue and listening without engaging in fanaticism, defamation and the rejection of others;

8. Use the planet resources wisely to create a healthy environment for us and other generations to come;

9. Promote sustainability in all its aspects (economic, social, and environmental);

10. Contribute to the development of my community to create prosperity for all.
