Thanks GP for this topic. I think you have pretty much said everything that could be said about synchronicity in the description given for this topic at the top. Let's see if I can add to it.
Firstly, I suggest that everyone reads "The Holographic Universe" by Michael Talbott whether or not they are interested in synchronicity. It's helps to understand our universe much better.
Secondly, "There are no accidents" is a fundamental truth. Everything indeed happens for a reason. However, sometimes it's actually desirable to not be in total control of our lives and let some apparent "randomness" in our lives as that would help in us unravelling ourselves and following our heart much more strongly and easily. In reality, because of our inability to hold the infinite truth in our minds, we can't really know everthing that's going on and hence can't control everything. So, it's best to let go...
The tighter you grip sand, the more of it slips out of your fingers.
However, this doesn't mean being naive and gullible. It just means that we allow more of our intuitions to guide our lives along with logic...Presently, we just don't do that. The universe is always giving us signs and talking to us but we are not listening!
Also, just because there is a reaon behind everything doesn't mean we have to understand all the reasons...this is where logic ends because behind every effect there are an infinite causes and we simple can't understant them all because we would be doing that for eternity. Trying to understand all the cause and effect linkages behind even a simple event is like trying to build the Great Pyramid at Giza one grain of sand at a time.
This also connects with our subconcious and unconcious minds. When we say that we only use 10% of our brains that is because we are only using our egos or concious minds which our outwards facing. The other 90% of our brains is mostly unused because we aren't paying attention to the messages from our subconcious and unconcious minds which sees all the patterns and linkages that escape our concious attention. Our dreams try to tell us certain things but manyof us don't pay attention and just ignore them instead of trying to figure out their meanings which is usually multi-dimensional.
The universe is not stagnant. It's forever changing and evolving. Hence, one cannot describe any truth because as soon as we even start describing it, what we describing has already changed. Plus, there is infinite complexity in even the minutest and apparently simplest of things.
The universe is ineffably beautiful and wonderful in it mystery and wonder.
