Thanks as always for your great shares.

There are many reasons for people

 not participating on a site/group:

they are extremely busy; are away for the summer; still think iPeace no longer exists; are hurt by what happened with iPeace in the past.

I also prefer this kind of site compared to Facebook,

 but have also joined there mainly to keep in contact with many.

None of us know what the future of iPeace is except David the owner, who will probably let everyone know what he's plans are.

Many have started/joined other groups.

Because I don't like Facebook/my iPeace group has not taken off, so will not transfer it there, for these reasons & lack of time. 

I have my own, small, private over 50's friendship group where we share huge diversity, for many tastes. I also belong to/host for a number of sites of interest.

Don’t Take It Personally

Miguel Ruiz explains that we can become

 immune to hurt and rejection. For real.

He writes: There is a huge amount of freedom

that comes to you when you take nothing personally.

The whole world can gossip about you

&  if you don’t take it personally you are immune.

Someone can intentionally send emotional poison

&  if you don’t take it personally, you will not eat it.

When you don’t take the emotional poison,

it becomes even worse in the sender, but not in you….

As you make a habit of not taking anything personally,

you won’t need to place your trust in what others do or say.

You will only need to trust yourself to make responsible choices.

You are never responsible for the actions of others;

you are only responsible for yourself.

When you truly understand this &  refuse to take things personally,

you can hardly be hurt by the careless comments or actions of others.
