Just a few minutes ago i got a message that one of my former Pencak Silat teachers had a stroke(a sort of heartattack) he may be now in a sleep coma.
In the early evening i watched film footage of chinese destroying a village where monks and nuns live and practised. There was also a report that because of waterflooding in china, Lhasa gets flooded by a huge amount of chinese who are searching for work there. Food and other products have gone so high in price that there are the tibetans needing to beg. The beggars get sent away from Lhasa and told not ever to enter the city.
Yesterday i read about a Native american who got very badly treated for many years by police men, trying to demoralise him, because he speaks of his right to live as an Indian in the land where his forefathers where chased away by golddiggers. His wife, pregnant got harrassed by a police man, eventually he kicked her, and she lost the baby. Her husband was all his life promoting oneness and brotherhood of all human kind. His wife committed suicide.
All this can make you remember that we should not be brutal ,its up to us to make use of our freedom to speak, act and to love.
All this suffering of the tibetans
And still Rinpoche and the Dalai Lama remain unshakeable in their compassion for all living beings
All this suffering of the Native American
And still The chief's son speaks of the brotherhood of mankind
May my root lama be well
May the Tibetan people be free
May the native americans live as equals to all
May you be loved and loving
May we help to bring Global responsability for the earth
Enlightened action
I pray
Enlightened speech
I pray
Enlightenened mind
I pray
To the grass and the wind
To the tree and its fruit
To the insect and its purpose
To the cat's and dogs and their companionship
To the human race and their oneness
To the sun and the moon and the universe around us
To the masters of all the Lineages troughout time
To the sky-like nature of your mind
Switch on your loving kindness!
Time to be happy is
now
Place to be happy is
here
Way to be happy is
to make others so
