Free Tibet Activist Dr. Mahesh Yadav Released After Seven Days Imprisonment

New Delhi, India (Saturday, October 20, 2007) (Som Patidar)– Noted peace activist and Gandhian follower Dr. Mahesh Yadav has been released from India's infamous Tihar Jail after seven days of imprisonment on Thursday.
He was arrested on October 10 from Chinese Embassy in New Delhi on the charge of violence under section 143, 145, 147, 149, 186, 188, 353, 448, and 511 of IPC (Indian Penal Code). More than twenty 'Free Tibet' Activists also arrested with him, during a demonstration at front Chinese Embassy.
Meanwhile, Dr. Yadav, an internationally acclaimed blood activist, is very much disappointed with sections (of violence) imposed on him.

Explaining reason for his disappointment, Dr Yadav says that he is a follower of Gandhian philosophy and always uses Gandhian methods like Satyagrah, Ahimsa for registering his protest. But, police has arrested him on the wrong charge of creating violence.
"In fact, I went there (Chinese Embassy) to handover a memorandum and visa application (that he earlier sent to embassy by fax no.01126885486 dated 31st September) after informing responsible Indian authorities so there was no reason for resorting to violence," continued Dr. Yadav, who is also on 'Satyagrah' since October 2 (Indian father of nation Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary) for 'Free Tibet' and world peace.
Describing his experiences in prison 'filled with proud', Dr. Yadav informed that we have celebrated HH Dalai Lama's honor by United States Congress by organizing a brief function in prison after taking permission from prison administration.

Talking to Oslo-based radio Voice of Tibet and Voice of America, Dr. Yadav further explained that Indian government registered him under the pressure of Chinese government as China don't want to give him visa to travel China and Tibet for 'free Tibet' movement. It shows how-much Chinese government is serious for solving Tibet issue, he further added.
