Holding my only daughter, Maya just after her birth in 1987!

This was taken at the Special Care Baby Unit (SCUBU) of the John Radcliffe Hospital, Headington, Oxford, England where my only daughter Maya was born way back in 1987. She had serious problems at birth and I am indebted to the marvellous SCBU and the extraordinary staff there for helping Maya survive those difficult days. I am holdimg Maya here inside the unit with all the wires attached just after a few days of her difficult birth.
