What must we overcome to achieve peace?: Hatred

More: I have faith in what Mahatma Gandhi as said 'eye for an eye will make the whole world blind'. And also in what Robert Frost wrote in his poem 'Fire and Ice':
SOME say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

FIre is hatred and Ice is lack of compassion/love. Hatred is more dangerous and has many fold potentiality to end the world.

Can we change the world?: Definitely

The Jewish law from where the saying an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth is interpreted by Jews to mean only and eye for an eye and nothing more and even in this it is next restricted to be actually interpreted to mean that the monetary compensation for causing the lose of the eye should equal the value that the eye was to the persons ability to earn a living. The main point of the law however was to keep things from escalating to a life for an eye. As we can see in most wars who ever is attacked first retaliates far worse then the attack that was originally done to them. Then each side escalates until war occurs.

News: Wars and rumors of Wars around the world, Palestinians and Jews are being murdered, Poverty, Environment dying, Fla. woman likely jumped overboard (suicide), In Phila. 6 dead and 3 wounded (violence), Cheyenee, Wyo earthquakes 3 days straight, China border 3 tremors Dec. 27th and In May 80,000 people killed from earthquakes and more. It is imperative that we fast and ask for the relief of suffering around the world. What affects one affects all!!!!! If need advice on how to fast, please ask at anytime-we have a teacher to teach us.
