When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I feel the pain in the world
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Violence, Human Rights
So what is it?
The biggest problem is that people don't see how we are all interconnected.
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Hatred
More
On a deep, visceral level, people have separated themselves from those they see as "other", and are so out of touch with themselves that they scapegoat anyone who reflects anything that they have disowned about themselves. They can then justify any inhumane treatment of others, greed, and discrimination.
Can we change the world?
Definitely
More about me
I am an Episcopal priest who believes that non-violence was one of the non-negotiables of Jesus' teaching, even though too many Christians do not seem to pay attention to this.
Promise to respect others and refrain from spamming?
