What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Inflation, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom

More about me: I have been making films for over 25 years, directing and writing docs and alternative dramas on subjects ranging from civil war and human rights in Sri Lanka, love and marriage stories of the Holocaust, and homelessness among refugees in Canada (to name a few). My mother survived Auschwitz, my father a Soviet labour camp etc. I understand the trauma of war. Today we must find non militarized solutions to world conflict and civil war.

And we USA-ites are among the most guilty of this stupidity. i keep waiting to see the report that shows that our current financial black hole equates with the money spent/being spent on the war in Iraq (and we spent that much money, spilt that much blood for what exactly???) But somehow, we keep finding another reason that justifies another war...

i look forward to tracking down some of your films.
