i first wanted to say "religion"... but then i hesitated... i mean, most of the wars have religious basics but that's no reason for banishing all reigions and claim them . A lot of people wouldn't know how to go on without there faith. And I think those war makers need to hide the real reaon for there doings, hatred and fear, which prove weakness of character. behind issues like religion, for implying other people.
Can we change the world?

Isa,
The sixties were special, and it would be cool to drop back for a visit, perhaps. But, the world is so much smarter now... even though, it may not always be apparent. People were so naive during the fifties, thinking the politicians, teachers, physicians and such had our best interests in mind and would take care of everything for us. It was a real eye-opener to realize that we, the people, needed to look after our own best interests. I think we got off track with the deaths of some of our true spiritual leaders. I know that it took the wind out of my sails for awhile... especially when John Lennon was killed. My boss was a big-time military man and that affected my willingness to speak my peace as well. But I am, and we are, back on track now! Keep your eyes on the number of members for this site alone... I think it's going to amaze everyone (official opening day is on September 21 ~ Peace Day). This site will give us strength in more ways than we can imagine.
Love and peace,
Judy
Hi Isa! You are a hippie child born in exactly the right generation! We were off to a good start in the sixties and early seventies, but now is the time to complete the task of creating world peace, and that's been the main point all along. You are a leader in a new generation. This is what it felt like in the sixties. It was initially a small group sharing good ideas for our planet, our people, and it began to snow-ball until we were a force to be reckoned with. It will happen again... I feel it in the air. This time let's get the job done! Share your ideas (and this network) with your friends. We can do it. World peace now!
