What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Inflation, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom, Other

So what is it?: People who are out of touch with their own heart, with their inner Self

More: When people only see differences, the color of their skin, nationalities, religion, gender, age... then ignorance, arrogance, righteousness prevails. When people do not value human life, animal life, or respect the Earth, then wars, violence, waste, and destruction occurs. We are the witness to this.
What a difference we can make when we begin to acknowledge what we share in common, this life, the gift of a human body, this breath, each other, the beauty that is occurring before our very eyes within Nature.
We are a witness to this, too.

More about me: I have lived a life of civil rights and anti-war activism, born into a family of peace activists and teachers and writers. I work with low-income migrant families, both as a teacher and a family therapist. For over 35 years I have pursued a path of inner peace, and encourage others to find that source of peace within inside themselves.
