When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?: I am a born activist

What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Human Rights

More about me: I am activist in the sense of doing things on a small scale, where I am, to make peace. Not in a larger sense of joining and attending events. I do think an individual, working on a small scale, can effect change and make the world better. So I am involved with small scale activities, personal, especially artistic, poetic activities that I think make a difference. I host arts events locally, I think art, poetry, music are important in giving peacefulness and inner strength and individual expression. People thinking for themselves not so much belonging to something larger, being articulate and loving to those around them. that is what seems missing to me. Fundamentalism, and most large groups do not encourage inviduality and treasuring the indiviual expression in the world, I think that makes peace. Real friendship makes peace.
