I feel the pain in the world
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Inflation, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom, Other
So what is it?
The granting of the right and native truth in all beings. Tolerance certainly, but perhaps even further, the recognition of the truth in us all no matter what religion or creed may be held by a person.
What must we overcome to achieve peace?

Ignorance. Intolerance. The failure to apply the age old golden rule.And perhaps the absence of embracing love as a universal solution.
Can we change the world?

More about me
At this point in my life I consider myself rather an "all faiths" sort of person. I have been steeped in a couple of pretty strong philosophies but have found that there are universal concepts and perhaps greater truths that transcend all. In the end I have found that I must follow the truth I can find in my own heart and mind, without being intolerant of others, and in fact, the need to understand others better and with an open mind.
