When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I am a born activist
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Human Rights, Other

The concept of 'other' and the perception of 'self.'
Can we change the world?
More about me
"Let me start by saying this, because I think sometimes people look at me and see I am young--perhaps they dismiss my outlook on the world as naïve or uniformed: I understand the so-called "fight" for peace is nothing new. And I have no illusions about the difficulty we will face as we work to realize an eventual future in which war is a distant memory and in which our children grow up in a socially just society and world. I understand peace will not suddenly appear-that to this point countless people have worked for peace and that in the future many more will, too. Still, I believe peace is possible. It is not my naivety, rather a deep recognition that peace is a necessity, that social justice must be a reality, that has me working for this seemingly distant goal."

Einstein said "You cannot simultaneously prevent and prepare for war."

Why don't school lessons on Einstein, relativity, mass-energy equivalence, genius, etc. include discussion of this quote?
