I am so blessed by your friendship. This photo of me was taken July 2008, at the International Peace Gardens. I call it "One Foot in Cnanada and One Foot in North Dakota, USA," as I am literally standing in both countries. The International Peace Chapel is so elegant in its simplicity. It has peace quotes engraved inside on the marble walls from people all over the world and from almost every historical era. It was so awe inspiring that it moved me to tears. The chapel is totally nondenominational and nonsectarian, so it is all inclusive -- which you can also get that picture from the peace quotes. The grounds are filled with lovely gardens, lakes and white birch forests, along with hiking trails and picnic areas. It is truly magnificently peaceful. If you haven't visited the International Peace Gardens, I urge you to do so when you have the opportunity.
