Hunger, Poverty, Our Planet, Violence, Human Rights

So what is it?

Poverty breeds violence and discrimination.

What must we overcome to achieve peace?

While the poorest are seen as other, lesser, people they can be ignored at best and violated at worst. We cannot stand aside while poverty kills.

Can we change the world?

Definitely

More about me

I have lived in poverty. I lost my home, my health (I am disabled) and one of my children to public care. Now I am still on low income but I have a home and am close to all three of my children. I am blessed. I am an activist with ATD Fourth World UK and every day is an opportunity to fight for a world of peace and justice.
