So what is it?: DEHUMANIZATION

What must we overcome to achieve peace?: Prejudice

More: Identification of self and others not as humans but in terms of their nationality, ethnicity, race, or any partial identity. This false self and other identification leads to the fantastic "WE ALWAYS GOOD/RIGHT THEM ALWAYS WRONG/GUILTY" orientation that allows for war,hatred, prejudice, fanaticism and killing/extermination of people identified as THEM without running into an intolerable "Cognitive Dissonance" with everyone's own highest values of Goodnes, Sanity, Rightousness, Godliness, etc.

Can we change the world?: Definitely

More about me: Lifetime research of psychology of war, resulting in Theory of Dehumanization, the inner cognitive Orientation System that makes for and allows inter-group conflict. In addition, a practical way to political Empowerment of humanist good-wishers, that will prevent them from paving with their good intention the road to party-politicking hell or disintegration, like the Old Left or the New Left.
