When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I am a born activist
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Violence, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom
So what is it?
We need to secure peace to secure sustainability and fairer improvements in living standards across the Globe - a World without Borders.
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Fear
More
Greed, prejudice, festering past humiliations (individual & Group), discrimination, power, loot ... all of these are the root of war and conflict and disrupt peace ... Religion is open to abuse in the pursuit of all of these anti peace issues .... the starting point for the movement of a people from conflict and fear to the first steps of peace is always to support those people in the situatio who are beginning to recognise that the people involved can rise above fear and feel the greatness and relief of peace - we need to create safe space around these people and help to cautiously bring those in conflict together in this space .... peace is lost easy but once found again it can be treasured - this we learned in Ireland the hard way.
Can we change the world?
Definitely
More about me
Peace Zone is a small grassroots organisations which is tking root in ireland with a view to developing the capacity to secure peace, through disciplined civilian intervention, when and where the conditions of peace come about ... we belief that the intervention of foreign soldiers with blue berets can dampen war and save lives - but only civil action can make peaceblossom.

The expression
of the beautiful genius
opens like a wordless
rose
and clothes us
in the fumes
of paradise.
Somehow
when we are
listening to the wings
of crows and the
tender melodies
of elfin butterflies
we feel embraced
by the breath
of angels.
Beating
so softly, so
delicate-sweet that
velvet on a virgin’s
skin
might touch us
with an offering.
Though
we are there, out
in that other place
the familiar cup
of a summer’s rose
rises
from this ground
to kiss us
with the miracle
of its pouring passions.
And
we are downed
supine
into the common
haunting symbolum
of earth’s
dense mystery.
Though
not a single
word has swollen
to the lips
like a cherry
freshly swollen,
but the heavy
buzzing
of a working bee
lost
in the ecstasies
of pollen.
And
we are spellbound
and complete.
Like fruit.
Like garden.
