When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I'm just a peaceful person
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Human Rights

More about me
I'm 35, single and Canadian to the core. I love hockey..duh, I'm Canadian!.Oringinaly from the province of Newfoundland and currently living in Ontario. Yes, I'm a Newfie and darn proud of it!
I lived in Zambia for a year in 1981 and then Kenya from 1982-1989. I have experienced other cultures and seen poverty that most Canadians only see on tv. Don't get me wrong, Africa has a lot of greatness and richness but many of us never hear those stories and see only one side. It's just too bad that more of that success isn't spread around the people on the continent. I miss Kenya so much and must visit again someday.
I learned that if people are given a chance for an education and other opportunities, it changes everything in a community. Idle hands only bring trouble whether it's in Canada or in some 3rd world country.
