What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: Hunger, Poverty, Education, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom

So what is it?: Seeking stuff rather than loving each other.

What must we overcome to achieve peace?: Greed

More: I believe that it is our basic pursuit of self interest first and placing the pursuit of God and the best interests of others second or third or somewhere else that is at the root of our inability to find peace...The great thing is this...If we keep God first, others second and self interest third...Peace is our reward.

Can we change the world?: Definitely

More about me: From upstate New York near Rochester originally, have lived in Kansas City, Missouri since 1985. Have two boys who are both married and have blessed us with four grandchildren...2 boys and 2 girls. Doesn't get any better than that. Have always worked in some sort of sales or management related profession. Starting with W. Clement Stone's company, Combined Insurance Company of America in 1972 as a salesman, I achieved their highest award, the Grand Diamond and moved into management and evenually to their National Sales Management Staff. After nine years at Combined, I sought a leave from the insurance industry and joined Lawyer's Cooperative Publishing Company as their National Director of Sales Training and later to Regional Manager of a region here in the Midwest that brought us to Kansas City. Again after nine years, perhaps I have a nine year itch, I left LCP to begin a career as an Executive Recruiter working with the placement of doctors and drug develpment professionals in the pharmaceutical industry. That proved to be a huge blessing in many ways and the stay in that field lasted for sixteen years. The latter part of that time became a wonderful adventure starting my own corporation and experiencing for the first time the ability to build a home based business and a twelve step commute to my office each day. That is huge! About four years ago I underwent a major paradigm shift. I joined a network marketing company... Something that I never would have dreamed. You see, I was among those who had preconcieved negative opinions of this industry based upon OPO...Other People's Opinions. Well, if I was not so certain of the Lord's perfect timing I would wish that I had discovered this powerful and dynamic industry back in 1972. Interesting too is that those first 25 years of experience were of little help to me in networking...In fact, the sales stuff quite likely a detriment...The good news? For those who are ready to receive it, the secrets of success in networking are easily taught, learned, duplicated...For those who catch the vision of this amazing industry. My passion now is in helping others to achieve their dreams while working from home...It's safe to dream here. Amen.

I went to Francis Parker #23 for grade school and Monroe High School. Still have friends that I connect with in Rochester.

From there I went to the Navy and then the University of Minnesota. Midwestern background from Rochester, what a trip!
