When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?: I feel the pain in the world

What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: Hunger, Our Planet, Violence

More: Peace is threatened, among others, by violence by fundamentalists. I think fundamentalist thinking grows out of fear of change. Some people are frightened because the world is changing rapidly. These people want to gain control. Sometimes they resort to violence to do so. The root cause, I think, is fear.

More about me: At the moment, I am working as a volunteer in Orissa in an area where there is a lot of tension and conflict between the different communities. There is interreligieus, interethnic and intercaste violence.

Ja ik heb da verhaal al zoveel keer tot ervaring gebracht da ik het nu wel her-inner.
als je trouwens een lijn zou trekken tussen sitard waar het hart zit. het kontje van het hart :) . En de punt van het hart. Gent, dan kom je door het center beringen. Ik heb onlangs ontdekt dat als je die lijn doortrekt naar engeland kom je door chapel le ferne, een cliff vlakbij Dover waar ik altijd even langsga wanneer ik engeland binnekom. dat gebeurde puur op gevoel, want wist niks van deze lijn. Dan ga je ook door Turnbridge Wells. met een speciale bron in het center, enorm ijzerhoudend, maar drinkbaar. En natuurlijk ook door Glastonbury, jawel. Ik had echter al lang dat gevoel. op google maps kon ik dit vast stellen dat het effectief zo is.
