I was seeing a healer in my early twenties. One day, she looks at me straight in the eyes, grabs my arm and says:
"I feel a great will to help those around you in you. You have to know that whatever you do to help, if the ones you help do not ask for your help one way or an other in the first place, what you do will count for nothing.
Just being You is enough.
No need to save the world.
Being You is enough because You are special.
Understand. We all are. Remember it. Now."
It took me a while to understand what she was telling me then. But now I know: If One is living with the "need" to do something to save the world, One is in fact creating a world in need to be saved. We all individually have to find it in ourselves to feel and vibrate Peace at all time and then we will create a world at Peace. In other words, we have to stop looking outside for things to repair or people to save and turn our awareness inside. From there, find the way to Be at Peace and stay there.
The World is perfect as it is Now. Everybody is doing his job as planned. Even those you think are evil or misguided. They serve their purpose. Even if they are not aware of it.
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering. Don't judge anyone but yourself, and even then don't be harsh.
