When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I feel the pain in the world
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
Our Planet, Our Shrinking Freedom
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Greed
More
Every war is motivated by greed; this is more so in today's world. From Tibet to Somalia, from Sudan to Georgia: a few want what belongs to the whole. We humans covet what belongs to the rest of nature as well.
Since they\we cannot simply take it, they\we cause wars which have, as a covert objective, to control some type of wealth (oil, gaz, the channels that transport these, diamonds, coal, etc).
The more we want, the more wars we make, the less freedom we have.
Can we change the world?
Maybe
More about me
As a human I loose my temper constantly. My war, yes I have a war too, is to control myself. I WILL forget this in a few minutes. I hope I remember this often.
I admire his Holliness the Dalai Lama in his extreme efforts to bring peace to Tibet and to the world. His vision for Tibet and of Tibet in the world, goes far beyond independence. He is a genius of peace....if only people would think about his words.....
Promise to respect others and refrain from spamming?
Yes
