A thought for a day

How can we try to get peace when we still try to reform everyone in our own image and forget that we were created not by our own hands but by that of a higher being, a creator God!
How can we cry for peace if we can not accept that people are diffent?
How can we cry for peace if we can not tolerate others and their traditions and religions?
How can we cry for peace in this world when we have no peace in our own souls?
How can we cry for peace when we still sell guns?
How can we cry for peace when we make war?
How can we expect the world to heal when we destroy it every day with our actions?
How can we expect the people to heal when we destroy them every day?

My prayer for today is that each and every person today will look up to the sun and see the wonder of creation and call on their Gos/goddess to hear them and heal them and bring peace in their souls, for when you are healed and you have peace then you can begin to heal those around you and bring peace to them. I pray that we will achieve this for ourselves and then set forth this powerful ritual of peace into the midst of those that do not have peace yet.
