1 I was born in Malta and love the Maltese Language
2 wed very young and moved to England
3 divorced soon afterwards
4 raised children as a single mother
5 England is my abode for many years, but my heart is in Malta
6 helped to declare independence from the rest of Britain to save our homes ( a very tactful project)
7helped to organise a 24 hours picket outside the S. Africa embassy against apartheid
8 involved in occupation of a hospital for women in London that was closing down
9 involved in occupation of a London town hall who left vulnerable families in situations where racists could attack with impunity
10 took part in Greenham Common actions against usa's camps.
11 Love Italy where I lived for a while on a middle ages farm
12 Taught English as a second language
13 Went to the States with The Brudderhoff group to take part in a chidren's crusade against capital punishment
14 one way for me to contain pain is to write a poem about it.( Diana's death, Kosovo, Somalia, Bosnia and others)
15 Walked on seafront crying and sobbing while Baghdad was being bombed
16 Joined the two million who marched in London against the war
17 loves to travel and to learn languages
18 feels a lot of guilt for not being a perfect mother and grandmother
19 a hippy in the 60's, a Christian in the 90's
20 Greatest wish to open a Peace Centre
21 I dream that all the men in grey suits, change to colour clothing .( blue for the sky, lilac for hope, yellow for the sun and green for growth)
22 I wake up each morning and thank God for giving me another day
23 I want my chidren and grandchildren to live in a less dangerous world
24 I am learning to be more tolerant and less judgemental
25 I just love this idea of sharing peace with people from all over the world
